THE ARTWORK

I have always loved unexpected pieces in a home’s décor. Like a bright shot of citrus vitamin C, this industrial art piece really resonated with me when looking for artwork for my new home. Since I couldn’t find where to purchase this piece in particular, I decided to make it happen on my own by commissioning Art Institute Interior Design Student, Jeff Nichol.

Jeff's "Lot C" reproduction allowed me to select the color, initial and distressed look. The original was created from reclaimed wood and rusted bolts and now hangs in my office, serving as a great source of inspiration.

Now Jeff has created images on canvas that are identical to my wooden piece—only lighter in weight and easily “shippable”! The canvas pieces match that of the original at 37” x 46”.
